Securing IoT/OT with Fewer Personnel
ISSA Motor City Chapter Meeting
Thursday, June 18th at 6:00 PM ET
During the June chapter meeting (you don’t need to be a member to register), we will discuss how organizations implement digitalization and Industry 4.0 to optimize operations. They’re also deploying millions of unmanaged IoT/OT devices such as sensors, actuators, and traditional PLCs.
Securing this expanded attack surface requires a modern, agentless approach to IoT/OT security.
What’s more, with limited staff availability, it becomes even more important to accelerate incident response by leveraging existing IT security stacks and automated workflows (SIEMs, SOAR, etc.).
We will explore
- Real-World IoT/OT Campaigns to Compromise Corporate Networks
- Implementing Micro-Segmentation & Zero-Trust for IoT/OT
- Intro to the MITRE ATT&CK for ICS Framework
Speaker – Phil Neray:

CyberX delivers the only industrial cybersecurity platform built by blue-team cyber-experts with a proven track record defending critical national infrastructure. That difference is the foundation for the most widely-deployed platform for continuously reducing ICS risk and preventing costly production outages, safety failures, and environmental incidents.
Notable CyberX customers include 2 of the top 5 US energy providers; a top 5 global pharmaceutical company; and national electric and gas utilities across Europe and Asia-Pacific. Strategic partners include industry leaders such as Palo Alto Networks, IBM Security, Splunk, Optiv Security, DXC Technologies, and Deutsche-Telekom/T-Systems.
