We’re thrilled to announce that Microsoft has acquired CyberX.

The move makes a lot of strategic sense because together, we can enable unified IT/OT security and provide an unbeatable solution for gaining visibility and a holistic understanding of risk across the enterprise — leveraging the Azure IoT stack, Azure Security Center for IoT, and Azure Sentinel, the first SIEM with native IoT support.

Microsoft is welcoming us with open arms.  Michal Braverman-Blumenstyk, Microsoft Corporate VP, GM of Israel R&D Center and CTO, Cloud & AI Security wrote that “CyberX’s technology and team are an incredible addition to Microsoft.”

We’ll be part of the business unit managed by Yuval Eldar, Microsoft GM of IoT Security. Yuval is a successful entrepreneur who was previously the founder, President, and CTO of Secure Islands until its acquisition by Microsoft in 2016. Of course, our Israeli team now has the benefit of joining the best tech company to work for in Israel.  And in worldwide sales, we’ll be working with the Cybersecurity Solutions Group (CSG).

It certainly has been an amazing trajectory since we started the company in 2013.  We’ve grown from zero customers and an MVP to having the world’s largest enterprises adopt our IoT/OT security platform to secure their facilities worldwide.

We continue to be driven by a larger sense of purpose to protect the world from adversaries who are threatening the IoT and industrial networks upon which we all depend for safety, health, food, water, energy, transportation, and national defense. These networks today are often unmanaged, unpatched, and invisible to IT, allowing threat actors to easily bypass existing controls. And with the proliferation of digital transformation and Industry 4.0, today’s CISOs are now responsible for protecting three times the attack surface compared to just a few years ago — making the work we do more critical than ever.

We want to thank our employees for their dedication, hard work, and innovation. Thank you to our loyal customers and partners for supporting us every step of the way — and helping us continuously improve the product. Thanks to our investors for trusting and investing in our vision and ability to execute. And a big “thank you” to our spouses, Adva and Meital, for accompanying us on this incredible journey, and always being supportive.

We’re eagerly looking forward to the next phase for CyberX, as we join forces with Microsoft to scale our business and technology to securely enable digital transformation for many more organizations around the world!
